The Stagg String Winder is often overlooked but should actually be in every guitarist’s toolset. A simple piece of equipment, the stringwinder speeds up string changes and tuning, removing the tedium from the essential tasks, and for the price, why wouldn’t you get one?
Made from a hardwearing plastic, the Stagg String Winder is designed to last and works in a simple way. Fit the hollow end to one your guitar’s tuners/machine heads and hold the handle at the other end. Rotate the handle clockwise or anti-clockwise to tighten/loosen the string, keep going until the correct tension is acquired.
Additionally, the Stagg Stringwinder is fitted with a bridge pin remover to take the pain out of removing pins by hand. Just slide the bridge pin remover under the peg and pull it free.
